Bakmiup: Error Codes

Bakmiup Error Codes may be thrown by the web application for a variety of reasons. The odds that an error is thrown is minimal, but in the case it is, it is usually critical and should be dealt with ASAP. If you, the bakmiup user, cannot fix them, feel free to head over to Zysys Support.

Error Codes: What they mean and how to fix them

Be aware, most of the fixes for these bugs involve adding more disk space or moving a directory to a larger volume. Bakmiup requires a certain structure to function and to keep that structure while moving folders, you can create what is known as a symlink. All of the errors can be fixed in some capacity using symlinks. Read Bakmiup:Skills#Setting_up_a_Symlink for details.

Error 1095

Definition: Error 1095

This error code is triggered specifically when MySQL can not connect. The error indicates that the df command says that /var is full.

Fix: Error 1095

If the backup is located in /var and that is what is taking up the space, you can move the backup directory to a different directory and put a symlink in the original location.

Error 1050

Definition: Error 1050

This error code is triggered when bakmiup's current working directory is full. If the drive folder is located on the same disk as a subdirectory (and not a symlink), this error would indicate that the backup drive is full. Note, this is the bakmiup working directory, NOT the drive folder. This error could also arise (if the partition is filled via normal use. If, for example, the working directory is in the /home partition, then normal users can decrease the amount of space available for the working directory).

Fix: Error 1050

To fix this error, find the directory using the most amount of space and move it off the directory using symlinks.

Error 1257

Definition: Error 1257

This error is triggered when the directory defined in configuration.php as $GLOBALS['drive'] is reporting that it is full.

Fix: Error 1257

There are a couple of ways to fix this, but these methods are the same as the standard actions one takes when one's hard drive fills up. Two methods are to delete old backups or move $GLOBALS['drive'] off disk. If $GLOBALS['drive'] is moved out of the server's working directory, it needs to find a symlink to the new folder.
